YORK COUNTY, SC (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – Four people today tragically ended up killed in a head-on collision involving a auto that was driving in the completely wrong course on I-77 right away Sunday, the South Carolina Freeway Patrol reported.
Troopers responded to calls regarding the incident around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday alongside I-77 by the 80-mile marker. Two vehicles have been discovered to be included in the wreck resulting in the demise of four men and women, in accordance to the troopers’ report.
An initial investigation uncovered that a 4-door sedan with 3 occupants was traveling northbound and was struck head-on by an additional automobile that was traveling in the improper route and going southbound in the northbound lanes.
Rolesha Spears was the driver of the other automobile, a different four-doorway sedan, with just one entrance-seat passenger, a six-year-outdated who was not sporting a seatbelt. The child was pronounced lifeless on the scene, in accordance to the trooper’s report. Spears was transported to a clinic in Charlotte with grave, life-threatening injuries, deputies explained.
