CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles used a vacation Thanksgiving movie information Thursday on social media to announce she’s functioning for re-election in 2022.
“I am so happy to provide as mayor of Charlotte and I want to desire absolutely everyone a pleased Thanksgiving, and have a good vacation,” Lyles stated in the video. “I want you to know I am so very pleased of our local community for all of the great works that we are carrying out work opportunities and housing and so substantially more.”
Lyles went on to say, “I also want to allow you know, and I talk to for your support, I’m going to run for re-election in 2022. Thank you for what you have completed, and again, content vacations.”

“Tonight is about us figuring out exactly how we ended up misled, and likely lied to in some sections, and what regulations and protocols ended up broken to get us to this stage. So we under no circumstances repeat these blunders,” Council Member Tariq Bokhari explained.
