HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – The man preferred for the murder of a guy who was shot in the course of an argument at North Mecklenburg Park in August was arrested Monday, in accordance to the Huntersville Police Department.
Authorities explained officers responded to a shooting at the park all over 6:15 p.m. on August 29 in which they observed a gentleman struggling from a gunshot wound.
Police reported investigators figured out that a verbal argument commenced involving men and women playing basketball. For the duration of the altercation, shots ended up fired and McIntyre was struck.
Withers was identified as the suspect on October 7. He was billed with 2nd-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
