LANCASTER, SC (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – The third shooting in a week in Lancaster has despatched a gentleman to the hospital, Lancaster Police said Wednesday.

Officers responded to phone calls relating to gunshots all around 6 p.m. Tuesday close to 2200 Pardue Avenue in Lancaster. A male victim was identified suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported by helicopter to the medical center with gunshot wound.

This was the 3rd taking pictures in a 7 days. Police say they are unconnected.

It is unclear at this time what precisely led to the taking pictures, there are no mentions of an arrest at this time, and this continues to be an energetic investigation.

Lancaster Law enforcement, a violent crimes process pressure, and a unique operations unit are amongst those included in the case.
