HUNTERSVILLE, NC (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – Electric power has been restored immediately after a squirrel brought on an outage in the Huntersville spot, the Huntersville Police Office and Energy officials confirmed Saturday.

Electrical power United said a squirrel was located in the Northcross Substation knocking out power to about 10,000 consumers in the Huntersville and Cornelius areas.
Electrical power United was doing work to backfeed power to the station to energize 8 circuits, separately.
Huntersville Law enforcement confirmed ability experienced been restored all around 11:30 a.m.
