Texas high school on lockdown amid reports of shooting
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — A Dallas-area school district stated Wednesday that regulation enforcement was responding to stories of an “active shooter situation” at a superior faculty.
The Mansfield Unbiased School District claimed in a news release that Timberview Large Faculty was on lockdown Wednesday morning. The university is in Arlington, which is aspect of the Dallas-Fort Worthy of metropolitan location.

An Arlington Law enforcement Office spokeswoman reported officers responded to a capturing at the school, but that she couldn’t affirm whether or not there were being any accidents. The law enforcement department said on Twitter that officers were being accomplishing a “methodical search” and have been doing work closely with other law enforcement agencies.
The district stated that students and team were being locked in the classrooms or places of work.
Reside Tv footage confirmed a line of ambulances and fire office autos staged outside the house the faculty, but no individuals currently being addressed for accidents could be noticed.
The report came just times immediately after a capturing at a Houston charter school that injured an administrator. Texas’ deadliest college shooting occurred in May well of 2018 when a then-17-year-previous armed with a shotgun and a pistol opened fire at Santa Fe Significant School in the vicinity of Houston, killing 10 men and women, most of whom were pupils.
