(FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – Thursday’s big weather story happened in the mountains and foothills, as waves of heavy rain pushed via the region, top to a lot of flooding in that location.
Even though most of us got a crack for the night, there is extra rain envisioned to shift in via Friday and Saturday.
A Flash Flood Watch continues for Avery, Burke and Caldwell counties via Friday morning. Please just take any warnings significantly if they are issued for your spot, and if you have to drive, remember– transform around, you should not drown! Friday night time by Saturday morning will deliver far more scattered downpours and storms.
Saturday is looking a little drier as this storm process ultimately moves absent. Assume an over-all drier extend of weather beginning Sunday!
Having said that, it will never come to feel really tumble-like. More like summertime, with highs again in the very low-mid 80s subsequent week!
Tonight: Scattered showers, t’storm. Reduced 66.
Friday: Largely cloudy with locations of rain, t’storm. Significant 76.
